It's not always sunny in Vancouver so we like to take advantage of the sun whenever we can.  The summer picnic lets all of the members and guests relax at one of the many city parks in metropolitan vancouver.

Usually we serve barbequed tandoori chicken along with corn on the cob, potatoe salad and every other imaginable picnic delectable.  Guests are always welcome for a small fee.

Along with the scrumptious food one can always look forward to a game of soccer and on some rare occassions a game of kabadi.  We wind down with some good old fashioned Indian tea and bid farewell to each other as the sun begins to set.  We look forward to seeing each other again at Durga Puja.
