Kallol: Good day Mr. Sen and thank you for taking the time to sit with me today.

Arnab: It's a pleasure.

Kallol: Now Arnab, you don't mind if I call you by your first name right?

Arnab: I will allow it.

Kallol: Thanks.  Arnab, I understand you attended and volunteered at this year's LMBCS Picnic.

Arnab: Yes.

Kallol: Ahh, I see you are being as verbose as usual.  Anyway, I understand that you are the LMBCS treasurer and helped out with the festivities.

Arnab: Indeed.  It was a community driven effort.  My involvement included setting up the barbeque and collecting the event fees from attendees.

Kallol: Yes of course it is a community effort, that is what makes it so much fun.  Who else volunteered their time?  I love giving thanks to volunteers.

Arnab: Forgive me if I omit anyone.  However, most of the executive team was there including Anjana's husband Prashant who was busy barbequing.  Natasha's husband and parents also helped out with various tasks.  Aparajita Auntie cut the watermelon and Monoranjan Uncle boiled water on the barbeque.  It was quite amusing to see everyone trying to remove the smouldering pot to make tea.

Kallol: Sounds like everyone had a great time.  How was the weather?

Arnab: It was a bit chilly but the scenery was spectacular.  The mountains peaks were visible and the air was fresh as ever.  The cold weather encouraged crowds to gather around the barbeque.

Kallol: Yes Bengalis dislike cold weather very much.  What was on the menu that day?

Arnab: On the menu was crowd pleasing dhokla, barbequed chicken and hot dogs and several types of salad.

Kallol: I'm sorry I missed partaking in the feast!  Well thank you for time once again Arnab.  I look forward to seeing you at Durga Puja.

Arnab: The pleasure was mine.
